Brexit shock as Boris Johnson asks Queen to suspend Parliament. EU keeps its distance!

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has asked the Queen to suspend Parliament just days after it returns from summer recess next week, and only weeks before the Brexit deadline.

BREXIT LIVE

MPs plan to seize parliamentary time tomorrow to try to pass legislation to force Prime Minister Boris Johnson to seek a delay to Brexit.

“It is our last chance to seize this opportunity,” Jeremy Corbyn said at the beginning of a debate on the issue which began at 7pm this evening.

“If we do not act today we may not get another chance. Whether people voted leave or remain, they did not vote to shut down democracy.”

MPs will vote on the motion after the debate later tonight. Politicians are trying to find the real story behind the UK BREXIT referendum.
