The EUIPO is organising the third webinar related to the SMEs Fund: ‘Need an intellectual property strategy? Grow your business with an IP Scan’
The webinar aims to provide an informative discussion on how an IP Scan (IP Pre-diagnostic) service can help SMEs to manage their IP rights (trade marks, patents, designs, trade secrets etc.). IP Scan experts will also explain how an IP Scan is carried out giving some real life examples. SMEs can be reimbursed 75% of the cost of their IP Scan via the Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs) Fund.
The 2nd application window of the Ideas Powered for business SME Fund was launched on the 1st March 2021 by the EUIPO with the collaboration of the national IP offices. This 20 million grant scheme for European SMEs offers financial support, namely 50% off trade mark and design application fees (national and European) and also 75% off on IP Pre-diagnostic services (IP Scan).
This third SME Fund webinar will provide an informative discussion on how an IP Scan service can help Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs) to discover and manage their existing IP assets (trade marks, patents, designs, trade secrets etc.) to achieve more business growth using their IP assets. EUIPO speaker Maria Baldares and Hans Helsloot from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency will also be explaining how an IP Scan is carried out giving some real life examples of IP Pre-diagnostic services carried with European SMEs.
Every picture tells a story and the EUIPO’s is one of accessible IP registration services for EU businesses, whether large or small. This is the starting point of The IP Link, a 7-minute short film which was made with the help of over 80 EUIPO staff members.
EUIPO is the European Union Intellectual Property Office responsible for managing the EU trade mark and the registered Community design. EUIPO also works with the IP offices of the EU Member States and international partners to offer a similar registration experience for trade marks and designs across Europe and the world.
